Weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth

This picture was taken this morning. I can't believe it.




Here is last March. The girls are playing Cinderella. Now look out the window. There are clothes on the clothesline!


I'm sad. I'm crying.

Happy Easter!

I know, I'm two days late.
We had a great Easter. Lots of eggs, way too much candy, quite a bit of the religious part of the holiday, some ham, and new dresses!


Look at all that pink! You can see that Willow's dress is quite a bit too big, but she told me "Don't worry Mom, I can wear it for three years!" Yep, she probably can.

And since that's not a very good picture of me, here's another one. I hate the lenses in my glasses. Arg. Anyway....


I had so much fun making these, I love having girls!

Cherry Purse

Here's the purse I mentioned earlier. It's in my shop right now, but I'm thinking I want to keep it!
Willow took the picture for me. Pretty good don't you think?




*Update* I took the purse off etsy and used it at church today. It's too cute not to use!

A little better now

The crazy busy has eased up a little bit and I have a few minutes to post.
I was feeling rotten today. It snowed and I cried, the kids were grouchy, my back is about to go out and I just felt rotten. So I sewed. Pink always makes me feel good.


Here is Willow modeling her new skirt. It's a full circle with elastic in the waistband.



I made a skirt for myself too, but I'll blog it later, it was inspired by a shopping trip to Kohl's!

Sew Stinkin' Busy!

It's been almost a week since my last blog entry. I've made 2 dolls, a purse and 3 dresses.
We're also trying to finish our basement, so I've had 5 estimaters, a framer and a plumber through my house and about 4 trips to Lowe's.
Here are the dolls, Sunny and Rosy. They're in the shop already.


This is all I have time for today! I'll blog more later!

Look at this! Pretty soon you can go to this website and design your own fabric! How cool is that? Right now you can go there and take a survey about what you would like to see on their site. I totally jazzed about this.
