Meet Poppy and Posy.

I have this great idea to make a bunch of different dolls with nature themes and embroidery on their chests. These are flowers if you couldn't tell. I also want to do trees, suns and ponds, but I won't give away too many details because I don't want anyone to steal my idea! It's going to be great though.

Diane from Out Of The Loop Group wanted to see the vintage pillowcase from my daughters bed. Here it is! lol



I made it into a child's apron and a pin cushion to enter into Handmade Parade's vintage pillowcase challenge. Which reminds me that I haven't sent pictures of the pin cushion yet. I'd better get on that.

Okay, the moment you've all been waiting for. The grand prize winner is...drumroll please...Dawn! I've sent her an email and she's picking her prize. I'll post it once she chooses.


There were so many lovely choices that I couldn't give a prize to just one person, but I also couldn't give prizes to all seven, so I've chosen three runners up who will get gift certificates to my shop. Those runners up are Holly, Aimee, and Jaquie. I've emailed them as well.

Little bit of creativity

My Sweetheart got me flowers the other day. Isn't he sweet?


Here's a blanket I made for a baby shower. I got lots of compliments on it. One lady even said she hated me. Great. Thanks for that.


Oh well, it was the same lady who patted my tummy and told me that I look so cute when I'm pregnant and when I told her that I wasn't she said "I know I was only kidding."
I just ignore her now. She must just have foot in mouth disease.
